Between September 30 to October 4, 2020 Fresh on the Fly offered a Taste of Thailand Take Home Family Meal. It’s a 3 course meal for your family available every Wednesday – Sunday. This meal is suitable for four people and was only $75! Our Taste of Thailand Take Home Family Meal offers traditional Thai dishes and flavours. This meal was available for pickup from The Arms Public House or delivery from Fresh on the Fly!

This Taste of Thailand Take Home Family Style Meal is so delicious because of all our fresh and local ingredients!This meal is only $75 and is suitable for 4 people. There is $5 peninsula delivery only on Friday October 2nd between 2-5pm. Max 10km delivery radius. Free delivery with a purchase of a bottle of wine or if more than one meal is purchased. 

This meal is available from September 30th to October 4th, 2020 with pickup available at The Arms at 1515 South Park Street inside the Lord Nelson Hotel – earlier pick ups can be arranged via email at freshonthefly@rcr.ca

Traditional Jumbo Shrimp Pad Thai

Cooking / Reheating Instructions

Please be aware that oven temperatures and cooking times will vary by appliance. Preheat oven to 375°F for all dishes.

Tofu (covered) – 18 minutes

Coconut Rice (covered) – 20 minutes, sprinkle with water before heating

Pad Thai (covered) – 16 minutes

Curry Chicken (covered) – 30 minutes

About the Dishes

Yam Mamuang

This salad is composed of shredded iceberg lettuce, mango, red onion, mint, lime leaf, red pepper with a sesame and lime Thai dressing and encompasses all thegreat Thai flavours. A perfect combination of sour and salty which draws you back for more.

Tao-Hu Gratium Prik Thai

This traditional Thai dish is simple and delicious. It is composed of tofu which is marinated in garlic and black pepper.

Massaman Chicken Curry

This famous Thai curry is rich and very flavourful. Made with chicken, it’s a fragrant yellow curry that incorporates lemongrass, coconut milk, nuts and bay leaves together with other key Thai ingredients.

Kaeng Buat Fak Thong

If you have a sweet tooth you’ll enjoy this wonderful Thai dessert which is composed of Japanese pumpkin covered in sweet coconut milk.
