This week we visited the fantastic cuisine of Flavours of France with a new Taste of France – Take Home Family Meal. From classic French dishes such as nicoise salad and chicken chasseur! It’s a 3 course meal for your family available every Wednesday – Sunday. This meal was available the week of July 22-26 to hungry (and busy!) Haligonians and delivered to homes from Fresh on the Fly!

A great selection from this weeks Taste of France – Take Home Family Meal! Sliced baguette with spreadable parsley aioli, perfect to snack on while your meal heats up! For an appetizer we did a classic Salade niçoise with seared rare tuna and provençal vinaigrette. The main event was roasted Chicken chasseur. Complemented with sides of roasted Brussels Sprouts, vichy style carrots and Lyonnais style potatoes. For dessert we made a decadent chocolate pot de crème pudding with sliced strawberries.
When you order a Take Home Family Meal we offer $5 peninsula delivery on Fridays between 2-5pm. Max 10km delivery radius. We also offer free delivery if you purchase more than one meal or if you include a bottle of wine with your Family Meal purchase. These meals are suitable for 4 people. Available July 22-26 with pickup times from 12-8pm at The Arms at 1515 South Park Street – earlier pick ups can always be arranged via email!

Keep it simple when pairing wine with an Old World theme by sourcing the wine directly from the regional inspiration of you dinner! Pizza and pasta taste best with Chianti.
