Surf and Turf Take Home Meal

Between June 9-13, 2021 Fresh on the Fly offered a Surf and Turf Take Home Meal. It’s a three course meal suitable for four people available every Wednesday – Sunday. This meal is suitable for four people and was only $95! This Take Home Meal offers delicious dishes and flavours. This Weeks Take Home Family Style Dinner Contains…

Vegetarian Niçoise salad with green beans, iceberg lettuce, potatoes, tomatoes, onion, olives, capers and hard boiled eggs with fresh herbs, EVOO and red wine vinaigrette

Surf and Turf – Grilled teres major beef, jumbo garlic shrimps on bordelaise sauce soaked crostini

Roasted garlic mashed potatoes

Charred Brussels sprouts with bacon

Lemon Chiffon Cake with fresh berries

$95 for four people

This Surf and Turf take home meal is suitable for four people for $95. This Surf and Turf take home meal will be available for pickup from The Arms Public House or delivery from Fresh on the Fly, available from June 9th-13th, 2021. There is $5 peninsula delivery only on Friday June 11th between 2-5pm. Max 10km delivery radius. Free delivery with a purchase of a bottle of wine or if more than one meal is purchased.  Pickup available at The Arms at 1515 South Park Street inside the Lord Nelson Hotel – earlier pick ups can be arranged via email at freshonthefly@rcr.ca

Surf and Turf Take Home Meal Reheating Instructions

Please be aware that oven temperatures and cooking times will vary by appliance. Preheat Oven to 375° for all dishes.

Potatoes (covered) – 20 minutes

Brussels sprouts (covered) – 20 minutes

Beef (covered) – Preheat oven to 375 degrees and heat in the oven covered for 10-13 minutes for medium rare. A meat thermometer should read 115 degrees when placed in the centre. After cooking time, remove beef and leave on the roasting pan and rest for 5 minutes.
