Eat, Drink & Support Local

A perfect way to celebrate this Nova Scotian Family Meal is to pair it with local wines. One of our favourites from the many Nova Scotian Vineyards is Benjamin Bridge, because we love local wine! A fun and great pairing is the new Benjamin Bridge 2019 Piquette can or 2019 Pet Nat can.

The new 2019 Piquette can In the glass, a hazy golden colour with emerald reflections. On the nose, a cascade of freshly squeezed ruby grapefruit and lime zest is interlaced with suggestions of pine forest. On the palate, a myriad of lively citrus notes is brightened by, creating the most refreshing balance between hints of zesty lime and a delicate touch of maritime salt.

2019 Pet Nat can in the glass, the wine is so invitingly hazy, with a bright golden glow and emerald reflections. Because the nose is highly perfumed it a myriad of floral and botanical aromas. On the palate, the wine refreshes instantaneously, thanks to ‘juicy’ suggestions of mandarin orange peel and citrus oil mist. A raw wine in its natural state, featuring a succulent combination of lightness and crushability.
